Welcome to Week 1 of the Gracie Barra Fundamentals Curriculum Cycle!
At Gracie Barra Saddle Rock, we believe every restart is an opportunity to improve. Whether you're returning to the basics or stepping onto the mats for the first time, this week is all about sharp technique, strong fundamentals, and mutual respect on and off the mats.
🗣 Word of the Week: Leadership
At Gracie Barra Saddle Rock, we believe leadership is built on example, responsibility, and service to others. Whether it’s helping a new student tie their belt, demonstrating respect on the mats, or showing perseverance in training, we teach our students that leadership is about action and attitude—not rank. From our youngest Tiny Champions to our adult students, everyone is encouraged to lead by example and support the team.
